One of my absolute favorite tracks from the Empyrean album has to be 'Call the Police'. This song is a rhythmic beast, with a chorus that never once lands on the downbeat. It definitely challenged me in the studio. But once we nailed it, it became a powerhouse in the live set. Every time we played it on stage the energy was electric. It’s one of those songs that pushed me creatively and paid off big time.
Neither the bass nor the amp modeller used in the BPT-video existed when we recorded the album. And I’ve never been more happy with my sound than right now.
